getabreeder should work for everyone.
1. Our goal
We want everyone to be able to find a puppy, list a litter and manage a sale on getabreeder, including people who use a screen reader, keyboard, voice control, magnification or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
2. What we do
- We build pages with clear headings, labels on every form field, and text descriptions of photos.
- We design every page to work with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
- We check color contrast, and respect your device’s setting to reduce motion.
- We check new features with accessibility tools and fix what we find.
3. What may not work well yet
Some photos and videos are uploaded by breeders, and may not have full descriptions or captions. Payment pages are provided by Stripe, which publishes its own accessibility commitments.
4. Tell us when something gets in your way
If any part of getabreeder is hard to use, email getabreeder@gmail.com with the page and what happened. We’ll reply within 2 business days, and help you finish what you were doing another way while we fix it.
